See the list below to find notices from academic departments regarding their waitlists for Summer Session 2022. This list is monitored and updated as information is available.
Waitlist Updates by Academic Department- Summer 2022
- Chemistry
- If more resources become available, current sections may be increased to allow students to move off the waitlist. More information will be available in June.
- Computer Science & Engineering
- Courses that may open more space with additional TA support:
- Session 1 - CSE 8A, 12, 100, 134B
- Session 2 - CSE 8A, 100, 11, 20, 101
- No additional sections will be added for courses not on this list. Students on the waitlist for other courses are encouraged to make alternate plans.
- Courses that may open more space with additional TA support:
- Economics
- If more resources become available, current sections may be increased to allow students to move off the waitlist.
- Humanities
- Current sections will not be increased. Students are not encouraged to remain on the waitlist and should find another course to enroll in.
- Music
- If more resources become available, current sections may be increased to allow students to move off the waitlist.
- Physics
- Courses that have exhausted their instructional resources, therefore no additional sections can be added at this time:
- Session 1 - PHYS 1BL, 1CL, 2A
- Session 2 - PHYS 1AL, 2CL
- Courses that may open more space with additional TA support:
- Session 2 - PHYS 1CL
- Courses that have exhausted their instructional resources, therefore no additional sections can be added at this time:
- Rady School of Management
- Enrollment limits being increased to 90 for all undergraduate MGT courses. Students on the waitlist are encouraged to make alternate plans in case they do not get off the waitlist. In case of an emergency, Rady Petitions can be submitted to potentially bypass the waitlist.
- Scripps Institution of Oceanography
- SIO 132 - Current section size has been increased. The department will continue to evaluate the waitlist in the coming weeks.
