Our mission is to provide core courses needed by students for graduation from the University of California; to provide intensive and innovative academic programs not easily offered during the academic year; and to provide opportunities for ladder-rank faculty to teach in areas of student need, as well as provide opportunities for lecturers, visitors and graduate students to teach, when appropriate.
